To the Editor:

I want to thank The Bee, but especially Alissa Silber for the November 19th article titled “Celebrate World Vegan Month Meat-Free This Thanksgiving.”

It is rare to see articles about veganism in The Bee — and as part of that movement, it made me feel included. Veganism is not a diet as many people think, but a multifaceted ideology and lifestyle.

Vegans feel all who live on this great Earth deserve peace and in doing so, are protecting the planet for ourselves, but more importantly for future generations.

I would love to see a monthly article dedicated to different aspects of veganism to further educate others about its attributes.
