The Society of the Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) is presenting its annual “Color in Winter Show & Sale” at Newtown Municipal Center. The presentation is in the main corridor of the municipal center, 3 Primrose Street.

The exhibition is on view through February 25. It can be viewed weekdays between 8 am and 4:30 pm.

Show Chair Adele Moros told The Newtown Bee this week that 72 paintings are on view for this year’s exhibition.

“Color in Winter” offers works by members of the artists collective. Members were allowed to enter up to four original works, with most mediums accepted. There is no sculpture, photography, computer-generated prints, or commercial reproductions.
