Kathleen Anne Miner Ruffles, 60, of Newtown, passed away suddenly but peacefully at her Newtown home on Sunday, November 7.

She was born August 1, 1961, to the late Virginia and John Miner, Sr. She leaves behind her brother, Jeff Miner; her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Doug Body; her fiancé, Lawrence Keller; her two children, William C Ruffles and his fiancé, Heather Snyder, and Amanda L Ruffles and partner, Vinny Alfano; step-son, Michael Keller; and lifetime friend, Douglas Ruffles. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Dylan, Aubree, Lilly, and Charlie.

Kathy was a kind-hearted woman who loved everyone who walked into her life. She was always ready and willing to help anyone in need; she touched so many lives.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, camping trips, and New Hampshire. She also loved the Christmas holiday season. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.

Calling hours for friends will be Saturday, November 13, between 10 am and 2 pm at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
