To the editor:

I am pleased to write in support of John Fletcher for Board of Finance. John is a finance professional and a long-time executive at a Fortune 100 company, and has the experience and expertise to provide prudent oversight for Newtown’s taxpayers.

I have also known John personally for many years, and have observed his ability to command the room and drive consensus while maintaining respect and camaraderie — he will be a refreshing change in our local politics!
