Isaacs is a freshman forward on the Newtown High School hockey team which capped the regular season with a 13-6-1 record and will compete in the Division III state playoffs beginning next week.

Favorite part about playing hockey: “I really like the speed. I like skating around — it feels good.”

Toughest aspect: “The physical aspect — going against bigger guys. I always have to give it my all.”

When he’s not on the ice: Plays lacrosse.

Favorite subject: Science.

Team he roots for: New Jersey Devils.
