Some recent student activities for St Rose of Lima School students included bonding with buddies over popsicles, completing school projects, and continuing science studies.

According to St Rose Director of Mission Advancement Laura Moulder, second graders and their eighth grade buddies shared popsicles in the Gathering Hall on May 5 to celebrate their recent communions and confirmations. The buddy program at St Rose combines two grade levels to complete a variety of activities together throughout the school year.

Sixth grade science students recently began their seventh grade studies. In the first week of May they presented their 3D plant or animal cell project, as part of the seventh grade curriculum.

Meanwhile, the seventh grade science students began studying the human body and dissected a cow eye and compared it to a human eye.

Preschool students also attended Mother’s Day tea events.

According to Moulder, the school is preparing for end-of-year activities now, so St Rose students will continue to be busy throughout the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
