How long have you been in business? Opened first location in Milford in 2018, and has since opened a store in Orange last July, and most recently the Newtown location in late November.

What is the service your business offers? Healthy shakes, smoothies, and teas.

What would you most like Bee readers to know about your business? “I started working in finance for ten years, and then veered away to become an entrepreneur. I was previously a personal trainer, health coach, and Division 1 college basketball player at Niagra University,” Small said. “When I was considering opening this type of business, I was hoping to create a healthy hangout in the community — a place where everybody feels welcome. I love helping people feel better, and I had been visiting Newtown and drove by the location a couple of times. It’s a great location and Newtown is such a great community — it’s got a pretty large population, but it still keeps its small town feel.”

Are you hosting any near-future promotions or events? For March, Newtown Nutrition is offering a healthy take on the Shamrock Shake. Online ordering and curbside pick up are available, as well as shake and tea discount combos.
