To my fellow citizens of this amazing town,

A recent Newtown Bee editorial implied — in a classy and uncomplaining way — that The Bee is at risk because their aren’t enough paid subscribers.

I bet most of us agree we’re really lucky to have a hometown newspaper in the first place, let alone a high-quality local paper like The Bee.

“Don’t it always seem to go

That you don’t know what you got ‘til it’s gone:

They paved paradise and put up a parking lot.”
