To the Editor:

If you are a registered Newtown Democrat, please join me in attending the Newtown Democratic Primary Caucus to support my friend, Kyle Lyddy, on Tuesday, May 24, at 6:30 pm, at Newtown Middle School.

Kyle is the perfect choice to go up against Mitch Bolinsky for the 106th District seat this fall. He has a rare combination of qualities: a strong drive to lead and represent his home town, a lack of ego that allows him to listen with compassion and an open mind, and the skills and intelligence necessary to make wise decisions. A lifelong Newtowner, Kyle has a history of getting involved in his community, from coaching to creating the We Are Newtown scholarship fund, and chairing the Sandy Hook Permanent Memorial Commission. His past is proof that he is committed to helping Newtown heal, succeed, and become stronger together.

So come out and caucus with us on Tuesday. It won't take long and you'll be glad you did your part to support a promising leader for Newtown.
