To the Editor:

I would like to thank our neighbors, the Newtown community, and all friends, school teachers; and the firefighters who tried their best to save my house [which was destroyed in a fire on January 22].

Thank you to Roberto’s Restaurant in Monroe, where I have worked for 12 years. Thanks to Roberto’s costumers.

I came from Kosovo, Albania, in 1994 and this is the best country in the world. I am blessed I live in this country and the opportunities you can get here. All I can say is, “God bless American people and God bless the United States of America.”

Thank you again to everybody who supported my family and my five kids with everything — food and clothes.
