Ahead of a winter storm expected to drop snow and ice across the region, there have been a few cancellations and early closings received for Tuesday, January 26.

C.H. Booth Library Director Douglas Lord announced early Tuesday afternoon that the library will close at 4 pm today.

Newtown Public Schools had already announced this morning that they will follow a two hour early dismissal schedule for the afternoon.

Readers, business owners, managers, et al are invited to share cancellations, business closures, etc with The Newtown Bee. Those announcements will be added to this list as they are received.
