To the Editor:

Why did 70 million Americans (including many members of my own family) vote for Trump?

He has encouraged his supporters not to wear masks. That has, and is, and will continue to cause hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters to get sick and die from coronavirus, and also causing most of our nation to close down!

Isn’t Trump causing his own supporters to get sick, and many to die, enough of a reason not to vote for him?

Donald Trump claimed, “I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any voters.” Evidently he can cause hundreds of thousands of his own supporters to get sick and die and still not lose any voters.

Unless and until, the question as to why 70 million Americans voted for Trump is answered honestly by Trump voters, and the problem solved, our nation will continue to remain divided.
