Robert T. Lussier

Loving Husband And Father

Robert T. Lussier, 64, of Sandy Hook, died October 28. Mr Lussier was born in Pawtucket, R.I., on December 10, 1942, son of William and Jeannette (Payette) Lussier.

Mr Lussier was an employee of Goodrich in Danbury (formerly Perkin-Elmer) for 37 years.

He will be remembered as a pianist, par excellence, often accompanying his wife. They performed as a duo in local Cabaret-style entertaining. He also played as an accompanist as the family participated in several Community Theatre productions.

Mr Lussier was an avid kayaker, loving the peace and serenity of the local waters.

He leaves Dolores, his loving wife of 43 years; three sons, Robert and his wife, Susan of Danbury, Keith and his wife, Christine, of Attleboro, Mass., and Kevin and his wife, Lavonda, of Pownal, Vt.; two grandchildren, Brian and Victoria Lussier of Attleboro; and three sisters, Lillian, Jeanne, and Suzanne, all of Florida.

Calling hours were schedule at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North, Thursday, November 1, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass celebrating his life will be held Friday, November 2, at 10:30 am, at St Rose of Lima Church. A reception will follow at the Newtown Congregational Church Great Room at 14 West Street.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, 405 Main Street, Danbury CT 06810.
