Newtown resident and Newtown High School sophomore Daniella Guerrieri created and donated over 200 masks to Newtown Senior Center. The donation was made on August 28.

Newtown Senior Center Assistant Director Judy Thomas received the donation on behalf of the center.

Daniella said she learned how to sew to make the 200 masks and wanted to create them to support seniors in her community. Daniella created the masks with the help of her grandmother, Maria Feola of Monroe, and some help from her mother, Nathalie Feola-Guerrieri.
