Newtown High School Golf Team members Trevor Hislop, Alex Walton, and James Celentano have put together a golf marathon for Tuesday, May 12, at Rock Ridge Country Club in Newtown, where they will play as many holes as possible in 12 hours and make as many birdies as possible.

Donations to support the Connecticut Food Bank are requested, as well as bonus donations of $5 for each birdie the golfers make. As of Monday morning, May 11, $4,281 of the $5,000 goal had been reached. One hundred percent of the donations will benefit the Connecticut Food Bank.
