In a virtual group setting, get some basic help on your tech questions, start getting comfy with videoconferencing, and seize this opportunity to gripe about some of your latest tech challenges, plus share some cool tech solutions you’ve discovered. We’ll chat about all things tech-related in a casual, relaxed, judgment-free environment. For adults of all tech-experience levels
Every Wednesday Amy Schumann, Head of Reference, will post a new video about one of the library’s online databases. Learn how to use our great online information to your advantage. Since April 1, we’ve been having a community stay-at-home activity, Together Apart Newtown! Each day we will post a free online activity for adults. We hope you will participate, then comment on the activity. Some of the activities are time sensitive (it is up to the institution or artist), some will be up for awhile.

Our children’s department misses our younger patrons. While we cannot see you face to face in person yet, every weekday we have something for you on our Facebook page.
*Mondays — Lego Club leader Ms Martine will post a new Lego building challenge on the library’s Facebook page.
*Tuesdays — You may be sick of your backyard, let Miss Nora show you hers. See Miss Nora as she explores her backyard with pictures and questions about the animals and plants springing up. Enjoy a recommended book on the theme of the day on TumbleBooks through the library website.
*Wednesdays — Mother Goose at home with Miss Nora. Join Miss Nora for songs and rhymes with puppet friends from the library. This is pitched at ages 0-3.
*Thursdays — Miss Lana and Friends. Miss Lana is working from home, but she’s not alone. Her puppet friends are being taken care of, don’t you worry! For ages 2-5.
*Fridays — What is Mrs Morin Reading? As you know, Mrs Morin is always reading a good book. What does she do when the library is closed? She reads e-books of course! Every Friday, Mrs Morin will share her top picks on Facebook for readers of all ages.
