The National Day of Prayer Newtown Virtual Gathering is planned for Thursday evening, May 7, 2020, from 6:45 to 7:45 pm.

Each year on the first Thursday in May, people gather across the nation in over 60,000 local community events to pray together for America. Regardless of the challenge of COVID-19, the National Day of Prayer will not be canceled or postponed — but will look very different from years past. Millions will be praying together, but individually, joined by electronic meetings and calls.

A Newtown virtual gathering for a Christian observance of the National Day of Prayer will be by a conference call on May 7. To join others from town in praying for the community, the state, and the nation, join the conference call. Dial in to 712-432-6148 and use conference ID 713551.
