The Newtown Animal Control Center had a busy day of visitors on February 18 that included many young people stopping by to drop off donations.

In the afternoon, Animal Control Officer Carolee Mason and adoptable dog Joey met with Kelly Kling, Caden Kling, Ryan Mozelak, and Matthew Mozelak. The family volunteered their time making homemade dog treats and donated them to the shelter.

Later that day, Middle Gate School student Chloe Cameron delivered a $500 donation to the shelter to help the animals.

Those interested in learning how to volunteer with or donate to the Newtown Animal Control Center can call 203-426-6900 or visit the shelter at 21 Old Farm Road during office hours.
