Scott Jordan Rogers, 62, formerly of Newtown, died suddenly December 20, 2019. He was born April 21, 1957, and grew up in Newtown. He attended Newtown High School, graduating Class of 1975.

Mr Rogers was a carpenter and a builder of homes.

After living in Newtown, he moved to Tucson, Ariz., where he resided for more than a decade. He then spent 30 years living in Park City, Utah.

He enjoyed skiing and playing volleyball.

Mr Rogers is survived by his son, Derek Rogers; his sister, Cindy Rogers-Gessford; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and Douglas Rogers.
