Toby Kuhlmann Spector, 61 years of age, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at his home in Bridgewater, surrounded by family. Toby was born on October 10, 1958, in Bridgeport, to Stella Kuhlmann Spector and Arthur Spector.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Daigle, of Bridgewater; his daughter, Erin West Reed, of Torrington; his mother, Stella Kuhlmann Spector, of Southbury; his sisters, Amy Brettholz of New York City, Kathryn Miller of Champaign, Ill., and Anne Sumple of Doylestown, Penn.; and his brothers, John Spector of Woodbury, Victor Spector of Doylestown, Penn., and Artie Spector of Arlington Heights, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Spector.

Toby graduated from Newtown High School, where he excelled in numerous sports and enjoyed acting in the school plays. Throughout his life, Toby was an avid golfer and had a love for travel.

Toby will be fondly remembered by his wife, daughter, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Friends may call Friday, January 10, from 5 to 8 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street. Funeral services will be held on January 11 at 10 am at Honan Funeral Home.
