To the Editor:

On behalf of Newtown Youth and Family Services, I would like to thank everyone who made the 34th Annual Holiday Festival a success. NYFS is very fortunate to have the support of the community, volunteers, and local businesses like Newtown Savings Bank, our Platinum Sponsor, to make this huge undertaking come to life. As always, it was a pleasure working with Edmond Town Hall, C.H. Booth Library, and Trinity Church, the locations for the various Holiday Festival activities and events.

The festival featured narrated historical trolley tours through the Newtown Borough, the Holiday house tours along Main Street and surrounding streets, the Festival of Trees at the C.H. Booth Library and sponsored by Newtown Prevention Council, the Nutcracker Suite ballet presented by Newtown Centre of Classical Ballet, the Kid’s Tea & Sing-Along with Elsa & Anna and the Holiday Tea sponsored by Newtown Savings Bank, the Edible Creations Competition, Ice Cream with Olaf, and kids’ activities like cookie decorating and crafts sponsored by Newtown Family Dentistry.

The turnout from the local community and surrounding towns and states exceeded our expectations. Thank you for supporting NYFS’s mission!
