Due to the condition of the road within its property, The CVH Animal Sanctuary is cancelling an outdoor event scheduled for Sunday.

The good news is, a two-day backup event is already set up in its place.

The Newtown Bee has been notified that The Catherine Violet Hubbard Giving Tree Event planned for Sunday, December 8, at the animal sanctuary property has been canceled.

In its place, however, the sanctuary will present a CVH Animal Sanctuary Holiday Shop.

The public is invited to visit CVH Animal Sanctuary office at 83 South Main Street on Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8. It will be open from noon until 4 pm each day, and guests will be greeted with “wonderful gifts and holiday surprises for your favorite animal lovers,” according to CVHAS spokesperson Harmony Verna.
