Town police have obtained an arrest warrant in connection with theft of four personal watercraft, commonly known as jet-skis, earlier this year from three local lakeside locations.

Police are seeking Jerrysan Rohena, 31, formerly of Waterbury, in connection with the thefts. Police said that Rohena may be in New York or Massachusetts. The arrest warrant charges Rohena with four counts of second-degree larceny, which is a felony. The combined value of the four stolen vehicles is more than $50,000, police said.

In September, police learned of the theft of two SeaDoo personal watercraft from a dock alongside Lake Zoar off Bridge End Farm Lane.

In August, police reported the theft of two personal watercraft from two docks alongside Lake Lillinonah, off Lake Road. One vehicle was a SeaDoo and the other was a Bomba.

Police obtained the warrant for Rohena's arrest on December 5. Police ask anyone who knows Rohena's whereabouts to contact them at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 203-426-5841.

Newtown Police provided this photo of Jerrysan Rohena, 31, whom they are seeking in connection with the theft of four personal watercraft earlier this year.
