To the Editor:

I want to thank all the Newtown residents who voted yesterday and those that cast their vote for me for the Legislative Council, District 3. There are many family and friends who have lent their support and encouragement to me throughout my tenure on the Board of Ed and on the campaign trail for Legislative Council — for that I am so grateful. Thanks also to those who stopped to talk, gave a wave or a nod yesterday when entering or exiting the polls; it is those gestures that fuel me to serve Newtown. A special acknowledgement to my wife and kids, who have always had my back in these endeavors.

It is an honor to serve alongside the other 11 members of the Legislative Council and a responsibility to the Newtown residents that I will not take lightly. I am committed to work hard and make informed decisions for the betterment of Newtown.
