To the Editor:

Andy Clure and I met over 13 years ago when our sons both entered kindergarten at Middle Gate School. Our friendship has grown, and I think I know him very well as a person and a community leader.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to help Andy with many of the projects he has been involved with around Newtown, including constructing floats for the Labor Day Parade, volunteering at various events at Edmond Town Hall and at the Sandy Hook Arcade Center. He even convinced me to coach our boys in rec basketball together.

Plain and simple, Andy is a guy with a ton of compassion for others. He is the first to raise his hand to help and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. As with his position on the Board of Education, I want him on the Legislative Council because I know he will be dedicated to making decisions that will positively impact our community.

Please go out and vote on Tuesday, November 5th, for Andrew Clure for Legislative Council, District 3.
