To the Editor:

I am writing with enthusiasm to endorse Judit DeStefano for reelection to Newtown’s Legislative Council. Judit’s presence on the council has been invaluable. She is intelligent, sharp thinking, organized, highly articulate, and compassionate, all necessary qualities for representing Newtowners effectively in our municipal government. This past year, I saw her in action playing a leading role in passing vital and complex legislation, including measures that show she cares about the future of our planet and the future of our children and grandchildren. What can be more important? I encourage everyone in District 1 to vote for Judit. It will be a vote well-cast.
