DANBURY— Hosted in collaboration with Regulate Connecticut, State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan (D-Bethel) and State Senator Julie Kushner (D-Danbury) will hold a public conversation dedicated to explaining current proposals regarding the legalization, regulation, and taxation of cannabis.

“As the debate begins to pick up steam again with the next legislative session several months away, State Senator Kushner and I wanted to provide an opportunity for residents to hear about the state of the policy here in Connecticut and what’s at stake,” said Rep Allie-Brennan. “Whether you’re for or against it, this conversation is too important to sit out.”

The Community Conversation on Cannabis Legalization takes place Wednesday, October 30, from 5:30 to 7 pm, at the Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc, 120 Main Street, Danbury.
