To the Editor:

How many of your readers complain about the Board of Education? Raise your hands!

Of those who complain, how many of you complain because the education department is top heavy with administrators who spend too much money for the education which they deliver? Raise your hands!

What has the existing Board of Education done about it? Very little.

Of the four candidates running, which ones are current members of the Board? You guessed it, the two Democrats.

If you want to help correct this situation, vote for Deborra Zukowski, Republican, for Board of Ed for a four-year term.

I served with Deborra, or as she is better known, “Debbie,” for a year-plus on the last Charter Revision Commission. We were often at odds, but never lacking respect. She is very active and brings the courage of her convictions to any task at hand; quick witted, very good at analyzing an issue, and an outspoken champion for what she believes. Above all, she is fair-minded. We need strong minded citizens like Debbie to serve on the Board of Ed.

So please, vote for Deborra Zukowski. You will not be sorry.
