To the Editor:

Newtown voters, I write to urge you to vote for Matthew Mihalcik for Board of Finance. Matt was my campaign manager when I ran for First Selectman recently. He impressed me at that time as a smart, dedicated, energetic volunteer interested in serving Newtown. I think the fact that he is a market manager for Newtown Savings Bank for Southbury/Waterbury speaks volumes about the great maturity he has for one as relatively young as he must be — (I realize that remark shows my own age, 60 in six months). And his position indicates a financial aptitude that would serve him — and us — well on the board. Please join me in voting for Matt on Election Day.
