To the Editor:

My name is Laura Huling, and I am writing this letter in support of one of my oldest friends, Alison Plante, for Legislative Council. I do not live in town, but I work amongst your wonderful community daily and have met so many of you. I only hope for the best for your town and the people who live in it.

Ali and I attended elementary through high school together. We participated in many activities together, and Alison has always been someone I have looked up to. There is a certain magic about Alison’s personality that I have always been envious of. She is calm, yet ambitious. Brilliant, yet down to earth. Level-headed, yet passionate. She was always someone I looked to at the end of a close game as the spiritual rock for the team. But more than anything, she listens. She listens deeply and weighs every avenue, without bias, without emotion, simply with the intention of making the right choice.

I hope all that are reading this know how much of a gem they have running for their town council, and I hope you all give her the chance to show you what I already know so well.
