To the Editor:

I am writing today to endorse Paul Lundquist for Legislative Council. I have known Paul for almost 15 years, almost as long as I have been a resident here in Newtown. I am proud to say he is a good friend.

A smart, kind, generous, loving father and husband who has volunteered his time for the past eight years, serving all of Newtown and working across party lines for what is right for our community.

I am not part of the Democratic party, and I believe it is more important to elect the right person, over party. Paul is the right person for our town, and if you take the time and review all he has done for our community, I am sure you will agree.
