IAIS Announces September Classes

WASHINGTON — The Institute for American Indian Studies will be hosting several classes during the month of September.

“Beads, Beads, Beads,” an adult workshop, will be held on September 9, beginning at 2 pm. It will be led by Lydia Granitto.

Peter Blum will guide participants through an afternoon of total immersion and relaxation in “Sounds for Healing, Music for Contemplation” at 1 pm on Saturday, September 15.

Then on Saturday, September 22, “Create an Autumn Equinox Drum” will be the workshop offered. Participants can celebrate the dawning of the season with E. Barrie Kavasch. The program will begin at 1 pm.
