All town offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day.

Newtown Senior Center and C.H. Booth Library also will be closed on Monday.

The transfer station on Ethan Allen Road is regularly closed to the public on Monday. It will reopen for regular public hours on Tuesday, July 5.

There will be no regular mail delivery/pickup or retail services for the United States Postal Service on Monday.

The Bee offices will also be closed on Monday. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 7.
