Erica Christopher, a 1998 graduate of Newtown High School, is about to enter her senior year at St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, New Hampshire. When spring rolls around, Erica will take over her usual spot at third base – where she has been a starter her entire career. Also, she will go out on the field as a captain (along with teammate Delia Morrisey of Worcester, Massachusetts). It will be a busy year for her, since Erica has also been elected as president of the Student Athlete Advisory Council for the 2001-2002 school year. On the field, Erica has been an NE-10 Conference Team selecttion and an All-New England Regional Second Team selection. Erica – who was an All-State field hockey and softball player while at Newtown – also holds a number of St. Anselm’s freshman offensive records.
