40th Annual Newtown Labor Day Parade, begins 10 am from Soldiers & Sailors Monument at top of Hanover Road, grand marshals Mary Mitchell and Al Goodrich will lead the parade down Main Street to Glover Avenue, then across Queen Street, marching bands, fire companies, countryâs largest flag on display, floats, etc.
Ice Cream Social, begins 11 am, St Rose Parish Hall, 46 Church Hill Road, all are invited to enjoy a cool treat after viewing the parade.
