Rehearsal schedule for A Christmas Carol — Closed rehearsals (no parents) at the Reed School on Monday, November 26, and Tuesday, November 27, Wednesday, November 28, and Thursday, November 29, from 2:45 to 4 pm. Dress Rehearsal (also closed to parents) on Friday, November 30, from 8:20 to 10 am.

NYCAAP — Wednesday, November 28, 7 to 8 pm, at Newtown High School.

 

Moms’ Programs

Mommy & Me — New Mommy & Me group forming. This support group for first-time moms and mothers of infants will meet Tuesday mornings beginning in late December or early January. Call 270-4335 for more information.

Gym Time ­— Wednesday, November 29, 9:30 to 11:30 am, at Edmond Town Hall.

Parents’ Groups

Parent Education Program (PEP) — The State of Connecticut requires completion of this program as a prerequisite to granting a divorce. Sessions of the course sequence are designed to help families cope with the effects of divorce on children. Call 426-8103 for more information.

Job Bank

Monday and Wednesday, 5 to 7 pm, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Now taking applications from qualified 13- to 17-year-olds who would like employment babysitting, pet-sitting or miscellaneous household chores. Call for application.
