Needs Marchers

The Hawley School PTA Labor Day Parade Committee is still looking for students and parents to march with in the Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 23. It is lots of fun and a great way to support the school while making new friends. Families new to Hawley School are especially encouraged to march.

In keeping with the 2001 parade theme, “Newtown’s Natural Beauty,” marchers should bring a piece of original artwork that shows their favorite naturally beautiful place in Newtown. Wear your green Hawley School T-shirt if you have one. Check The Bee for Hawley School’s meeting time and place to line up for the parade on Labor Day morning.
