Newtown Volunteer Ambulance responded to 28 calls during the period February 12-18.

Medical: respiratory, 3; cardiac, 4; stroke related, 2; other seizure, 0; miscellaneous 13. Trauma: 1 vehicular; 5 non-vehicular. 

Twenty-three persons were transported to the hospital; five were not transported.
