School District Annual Report

The Newtown School District Annual Report can be seen on Channel 17 from October 25 through November 8, at 10 am and 8 pm daily.

Newtown Superintendent of Schools John R. Reed explained that every year an annual report is developed and submitted to the Town for inclusion in the townwide annual report. This year the community can view the report by tuning in to Channel 17.

The program will focus on work done in the district during the past year and highlight important topics including class size, the 5/6 school, curriculum work, and other elements of the school system. Dr Reed encourages the public to watch the program.

“This is a very important time for your school system,” he said. “If you have any questions after viewing the program, I would be delighted to have the opportunity to answer them.”
