To the Editor:

The November 2000 election gives Americans the opportunity to rebuild our nation and national pride from eight years of the Clinton-Gore neglect. Electing Republicans is the Nation’s best chance to turn things around and to begin to enact a positive agenda.

Democrats have played partisan politics with the most important issues America faces and much to our detriment.

Electing Republicans will mean:

– rebuilding our military from Clinton-Gore neglect

– reaching across party lines to strengthen and save social security

– cutting taxes which are currently higher as a percent of GDP under the Clinton-Gore Democrats

    than at any time since WWII

Electing Republicans means a new beginning.
