Praxair Cancer Center Hosts

 ‘After Diagnosis’ Program May 24

DANBURY — The Praxair Cancer Center at Danbury Hospital will host the free program, “After Diagnosis,” on Monday, May 24, from 1 to 3 pm at the Praxair Cancer Center Conference Room, first floor Stroock Building.

A diagnosis of cancer presents many challenges and poses many questions. This program will provide participants the opportunity to ask questions, get facts, and locate resources. Topics to be covered include treatment options that are available to cancer patients and proactive strategies for managing side effects of treatment effectively.

Speakers include Professor Lilla Dean and Mary MacKrell, clinical leader of oncology at Danbury Hospital.
