Toddy Hill Rollover
About 11:18 pm on February 7, motorist Pramod Menon, 30, of 103 Toddy Hill Road was driving a 2000 Honda Civic sedan northward on Toddy Hill Road, when the vehicle traveled across the southbound lane, exited the road, traveled through an area of trees and then rolled onto its roof, coming to rest in a driveway at 120 Toddy Hill Road, police said.
Botsford and Stepney firefighters went to the scene. Newtown ambulance volunteers transported Menon to Danbury Hospital for treatment of injuries. The accident is under investigation.
Snowplow Accident
Motorist Louis Romano, 40, of 7 Sugarloaf Road, who was driving his 1999 Ford truck with a snowplow attached to it, was making a left turn from Swamp Road onto southbound South Main Street about 7:18 am February 5, when the snowplow blade collided with the right side of a 2007 Nissan sedan being driven northward on South Main Street by Andrew Garthwait, 33, of Trumbull, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Romano an infraction for a stop sign violation.
Two SUVs
Police report a two-vehicle collision at the end of Interstate 84âs Exit 11 off-ramp near Wasserman Way about 4:20 pm February 10.
In that collision, motorist Matthew Donofrio, 23, of Danbury, who was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, drove into the rear end of a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Ronnie Parisi, 40, of Branford, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Donofrio a written warning for following too closely.
Glen Road Accident
About 9:15 am January 24, motorist Christine Springmeyer, 18, of 2 Fleetwood Drive was driving a 2001 Hyundai Elantra sedan southward on Glen Road, when while rounding a curve in the road, she lost control of the vehicle, slid sideways and traveled across the northbound lane, police said.
The Hyundai went onto the property at 84 Glen Road, struck a tree and hit a street sign, police said. Springmeyer was not injured, according to police. Police issued her a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions.
SUV Vs Deer
Motorist John D. Sullivan, Jr, 55, of 12 Winding Brook Road was driving a 2000 GMC Jimmy southward on Hawleyville Road about 4:20 pm February 11, when a deer ran onto the road, police said. The GMC and the deer collided. Sullivan was not injured. Police issued Sullivan an infraction for failure to renew a vehicular registration.
Five MV Charges
On February 12, police charged a Bridgeport motorist with five motor vehicle offenses. Police said they charged Rebecca Tierney, 27, with failure to display a marker plate, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without automotive insurance, misuse of a marker plate, and driving without a license. After processing, police released Tierney on $50 bail for a February 27 court appearance.
