To the Editor:

I recommend voting Rebekah Harriman-Stites back on our Board of Education.

We now all know how important a role brain health plays in our children’s education. Rebekah has been and continues to be an important advocate of health and other services supporting both our teachers and students. On the funding side, she has worked with the superintendent to obtain through grants hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional funding for our schools. I believe she has been on the board for at least the past four years and know she is held in high regard by her colleagues, since she has held several chair positions on the board.

I urge us to vote to keep Rebekah on our Board of Education.
