To the Editor:

Already this man, Trump, has proved willing to sell our national security down the river for his personal political gain; already we have seen that he is a bully; already we know he has only contempt for our Constitution and its requirement for separation of powers, which undergirds the very existence of our democracy.

Trump’s private deal with Erdogan gave this autocratic ruler of Turkey the green light to invade Syria, to commence his massacre of Kurds, as had long been intended Turkish policy. These very Kurds fought side by side with our own military forces to stop ISIS in its tracks in both Syria and Iraq. Now, thousands of hale and hearty ISIS terrorists have been let loose from their imprisonment and containment, as the Kurds who controlled them now must fight for their lives and families under Turkish onslaught. The bloody consequence of Trump’s deal with Erdogan is already the slaughter of men, women, and children in Syria and will bring bloody consequences elsewhere, including right here in the United States, when revitalized terrorist cells commit murders here.

Trump, you made this possible; you have unleashed the scourge of ISIS not only upon the Middle East but also fostered a mortal danger upon us all.

You are not my President!
