To the Editor:

I write to express my support for Alison Plante, candidate for Newtown Legislative Council, District 3.

Alison and I have been colleagues for over a decade, during which I have witnessed her deftly handle a variety of challenging situations. Alison is smart, collaborative, and an exceptional problem solver. She is able to have difficult conversations and to hold people accountable, all while maintaining professionalism and composure. A mother of three, Alison is deeply invested in our town.

Newtown would benefit greatly from having someone with Alison’s breadth of professional experience and commitment to our community serving on the Legislative Council.
