Ridgefield Chorale Finalé Will Celebrate Community
Ridgefield Chorale Finalé Will Celebrate Community
RIDGEFIELD â The Ridgefield Chorale will sing a story of hope, courage, community and the love that overcomes all in its production âThe Rhythm of Lifeâ on Saturday, April 24. The 7 pm performance will be at East Ridge Middle School and will be the finalé of the choraleâs 27th season.
Chorale director Daniela Sikora designs every Ridgefield Chorale program to appeal to the heart as well as the ear of every audience member. âThe Rhythm of Lifeâ is no exception.
âWe strive to entertain, we challenge ourselves to grow, and we have an enormous amount of fun doing it,â says Ms Sikora.
The powerful repertoire will be performed with the choraleâs four-part harmony. Accompanist Gina Wilson, The Ridgefield Swing Band, and members of The Connecticut Chamber Orchestra will augment the ambiance of the night.
Because the chorale wanted to celebrate the meaning of community with this concert, it has also invited area youth ages 5 to 18 and members of SPHERE Inc. (Special Peopleâs Housing Education Recreation Employment) to participate. Members from The Ridgefield Theater Barn will also perform inspirational monologues between songs.
Ms Sikora has orchestrated the adult, children, and youth choruses, live instrumental ensemble, and the new theatric dimension to provide audience members with a unique chorale performance that will appeal to music fans of all genres.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, and free for ages 5 and younger. Tickets may be purchased from a Chorale member, at Ridgefield Music, or at the door the night of the show. For additional information call 203-438-3425 or 203-762-9726.
