St Rose Students Take To The Fields

St Rose students got a break in a rainy spell last Tuesday, May 23, for the school’s annual Field Day frolic. It was a chance for all students to put away their books and enjoy some fun and competition.

Students tried their hands at a number of competitive events, including floor hockey, a tee ball, a Frisbee throw, a basketball shot, a soccer kick, and a water balloon toss.

The student body was divided into different teams, and each team was led by one St Rose teacher, along with several parents, who volunteered their time to make sure the event went smoothly. 

There was some debate as to what event was best. The water balloon toss, maintained some, while others registered their vote for a football punting competition. As to which team would reign supreme? Well all could claim victory.

The main event was just being a kid.
