To the Editor:

The Town and Country Garden Club of Newtown would like to publicly thank Andrew Mangold for the $15 contribution he made to support our work on the islands around town. Andrew was involved in a community service project for an assignment at school and recycled cans and bottles he found on the roads. He decided he wanted to donate the money to a group in Newtown that helped beautify it.
