To the Editor,

This letter is to express my whole-hearted support for the reelection of Joan Plouffe as a member of Newtown’s Police Commission. Not only has she been serving the Commission extremely well since first elected, but I had the pleasure of being the chair of the Commission On Aging for several years while she was a member and was able to observe first-hand the intelligence and hard work she dedicated to the functioning of that organization. I therefore feel that our town is lucky to have someone of Joan’s caliber on the Police Commission and urge all Newtowners to vote for her in November!
