To the Editor:

On behalf of Women Involved in Newtown, we would like to thank everyone who supported the second annual “For the Love of Reading” program. This year we significantly surpassed last year’s contributions and were able to add well over 100 new books to the C.H. Booth Library.

A sincere thank you to our corporate sponsors: The Homesteads, The Newtown Bee, the Rubino family, Prudential Realty, DaSilva Law Firm, and Bob Tendler Real Estate, Inc.

Their generosity allowed us to make donations to the St Rose School and Newtown public school libraries as well.

We also want to recognize the many individuals who purchased a book at the C.H. Booth Library honoring a special person or occasion. We are fortunate to live in a town where so many give so much.
